Developed by Giulio Alfieri in 1952 the Maserati 200S was a racing car featuring a 1,994 cc 4-cylinder engine generating 190 hp. Produced in 28 units, it debuted in 1955, securing victories at the San Marino GP and Targa Florio. In 1957, it evolved into the 200SI, and in 1958, with a 2.5-liter engine, became the 250S. Its most significant win was at the 1956 Trofeo Supercortemaggiore, with Stirling Moss praising its performance.
