Vermentino is one of the most famous white italian wines. Mostly cultivated in Sardinina, it can also be found in other italian regions such as Liguria, Toscana and Corsica. There is uncertainty over Vermentino’s geographical origins. Many studies dates it back to Spain, from which, starting from the XIV century, it would arrive in Liguria and Sardinia via Corsica.
